No, what he means is you could buy a brand new house for $15,000 - $20,000 back in the 60's.
The bad ass motherfucker of a car was $4000 - $5000.

Well yeah, that's what I'm saying too. Things are increasing in proportion. Only now it's $200,000.00, and a $50,000.00 Challengerracer12306 wrote:No, what he means is you could buy a brand new house for $15,000 - $20,000 back in the 60's.

Ford engines.. you just can't freaking kill 'em.fixitmattman wrote:That's exactly the way people think about neons.OB wrote:You're joking right? The Ford Taurus is one of the shittiest most unreliable cars ever built. And it's reputation reflects that. Who cares about the SHO? That was just a faster version of a POS. The newer Taurus was ok, much better than the early 90's models, but lets be real, reputation is based on first impressions. Just like the Neon.
The taurus was the staple of rental fleets for a reason. Low cost, cheap to run, cheap to fix, kind sounds like the neon in a bigger car eh? I remember seeing a list of "Most Reliable Winter Beaters" and the taurus was near the top
the bodies however....

awd is not god. dodge doesn't need an awd car, they need to put themselves back in the compact market to compete with Civics, Corollas, etc.

The Caliber SRT is not AWD, only the R/T is which comes with an N/A 2.4 putting out ~170hp iirc and either a CVT or a 5 speed.

If 0-60 is really 10 seconds (i wouldn't be surprised since Mox posts facts, not BS) then I bet my Neon hauls the groceries better than that

No B.S. here. The Caliber R/T has brought great shame to the R/T name plate.edmunds.com wrote:The Caliber's 10.1-second 0-60-mph time was unimpressive. The last AWD Toyota Matrix we tested returned 11 seconds with a much wimpier 1.8-liter, 123-hp engine. At the end of the quarter-mile, the gap shrunk to only 0.4 second, but 49 horsepower should produce a bigger advantage. Heck, a Toyota Prius gets to 60 in 10.4 seconds.

I agree that there will prob never be another NEON but Dodge def needs to make another small compact car. The caliber in my opinion isn't all that great. To be honest, I'd rather have a Cobalt or Focus for domestics cars and a civic, corolla, tc, or jetta for others. I would like to see an actual car called DODGE SRT4 (not caliber srt4) and to have it take on the body concept of the neon in a way but obviously with new upgrades

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
