Another winter over and another exhaust leak!!!!!!

Post by ragek23 » Tue Mar 17, 2009 4:24 pm

I am so pissed i took the car out to get washed today cuz its so nice out and I decided to check all the fuilds because I had taken a 300mile trip recently. I noticed that I have an exaust leak again. somewhere between the header and the end of the stock cat down pipe. Last time the flex thingy in the cat down pipe went and I had to have a shop weld in a new cat. Ofcourse the car was under the federal 8/80 so it wasn't a big deal but i think it happened again!!!.

So should I install my OBX downpipe wit a new highflow in it??

any opinions??

well since the current one is broke, then go for the obx downpipe and high flow with it. i mean ur already in the need for a new pipe.

"Also there was a tiny unicorn in your exhaust and he was jumping and poking holes in your exhaust…"

Wow, thank you very much. I did not know there was a tiny mythological animal jumping around in there. How much is that going to cost?"

"$7000"

"$7000...yes I would love to pay $7000. That seems to be a perfectly reasonable price, $7000."

I would check the gaskets and after that go for the new parts. Though if you already have the pipe you might as well use it, right?
