Alright, I was going to post the much requested pictures of me in my cheerleading uniform. But then I thought that maybe this wasn’t the best forum to do that in. So instead I’ll post some pics of my latest acquisition.

Well, it’s a 1991 Spirit R/T. Spirit R/T’s were only made in 1991 and 1992. 1,208 R/T’s were made in 1991, only 191 were made in 1992. So they are kinda rare.

It runs pretty well, but has a coolant leak from the head gasket. It only has 9x,xxx miles on it, so it should run pretty well. It’s got the 224hp TIII 2.2L DOHC, 16 valve, turbocharged, intercooled motor (very rare!).

The interior is not stained at all. It’s actually very nice. It was re-painted once, supposedly under factory warranty. It has a few spots were it’s peeling, but not bad for a car that has a build date of 10/1990! It also has ZERO RUST! :runaway:

The current plan is to remove the head to replace the head gasket. Once I remove the head I’ll thoroughly check it over. I’ll drop the oil pan too. After I get it apart I’ll examine the engine further and make plans from there.

224hp In the early 90's! That thing must have been able to hold its own with the V8s of the day.

I was wondering where you people were seeing stains. I kept looking and couldn't find any.

Even that may not be a stain. The carpet in those cars were really funny and it could look like a stain in a picture but wouldn't be

For it's time it was a good car. 0-60 in 5.8s. 1/4 mile in 14.5s @ 97mph. It can easily get into the 12's.
