I have a 2000 Neon, recently checked my plugs, and found it full of oil. how to i replace my sprk plg tube seals?

remove plug wires
remove coil
remove pcv hose
remove valve cover
pull out old seals
put in new
put back together

yeah, but how do i pry them off the valve cover. i knoe what it looks like, but it looks like its molded onto the valve cover.

BTW: i have the plastic valve cover

your help is greatly appreciated.

Grab onto them with a pair of pliers and yank. The seals aren't molded into the cover. They are a serviceable item.

They can be pretty snug on there sometimes, but they do come off with a little persuasion. Make sure your plug tubes are seated as well, they like to work their way up sometimes.

Be vary careful if you use a screwdriver and hammer to tap it loose. I wasn't and put a hole in my valve cover :banghead:
