Time to look for a new job

Post by dodge_girl » Sun Mar 22, 2009 12:08 pm

So the company i have worked at for the past 2 years looks like its going out of business.

They filled for credit protection on Saturday the 21st. From what they have told us we aren't going out of business but its hard to believe that they will be able to pull through this.
So now it looks like i will have to find another full time job. Not always the easiest task. wish me luck

Wonderful !! :x

The "good" news is that, they aren't necessarily going out of business now, so that buys you some time.

Good luck on the search.

I know the feeling. While my job isnt going anywhere, its not going where I want it to either. I might be getting a civilian job, working for CH2M Hill, working on the desalinization pumps/filters.

I was lead firedog. Making about $12.50. I used to joke about how the job sucked, but it was actually a lot of fun. Dealing with ignorant customers, meeting fun customers, etc. Now I got nothin.

I had a phone tech support job for 3 months after CC but the manager fired me to hire a friend. I just picked up another job the other day but so far I've only had 5 hours the last week. It's an in-home pc repair thing.
