dumb question... but it is about a Dodge...
may be a dumb question... and it is about a Dodge, just not a Neon...
asked on Dodgeforum, but didn't get an answer yet...
I have a factory 6 disc DVD changer in my newly acquired 2006 Dodge Caravan... but don't have any kids and it's just me and the wifee...but it came with the van, so...
I can load this up with 6 regular music CD's and use it as a CD changer for, say, a long trip, right?
(I thought any DVD player will also play CD's...)

ok... thanx...
I know the whole system is not the new touch screen navi systems that are coming on some of the more expensive cars, but,...
to me it seems like a pretty complicated thing. I mean, I can be playing the movies thru the sound system, or I can put on music for the driver and passenger up front while the screen in the back is controlled by the remote, while the sound is coming thru 2 sets of wireless headphones. and all I know up front is that there is one little slot where the dics go in, and it would seem to be pretty hard to get out, if something decided to just lock up the thing and get stuck in there

looking at it and thinking logically... it would seem like it would work.
Like you said, the head unit and changer would fit and wire in the same as a Neon with an up-front in dash changer...
the work would be in mounting and wiring up the drop down screen... I would guess it would just be power wiring and whatever cable they use to get video to the screen..running that from the dash, thru the headlliner
WOULD be pretty cool to find one of these systems still intact in a scrap yard Caravan and be able to pull it all out somehow...

The dvd changer doesn't fit in our stock location without modification to the mounting ears... My temporary setup consists of the rb1 and 6 Dvd changer. Mainly use the changer for the ease of the aux in. But ive made my own jacks for the 4 and 6 disc. Anyway...I also have an alpine 10.1 dropdown for the kiddos that I'm running off the changer...

I can bring ropes for the "ring" at the HW parking lot...
Or do we need some woven wire, for a cage?

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Ok I have an idea ...
I am picking up some stuff from Mike over the weekend ... when he's not looking ... I will snap some pics and post them myself ... LMAO
But seriously (since he will read this, obviously I cant do that) ... after all this talk ... I am really thinking about getting the 6 disc dvd player and setting one up in my car ... just have to figure out how to mount a rear drop down screen for the kids and have it work with the sliding section from the liner of the sunroof ... god my brain hurts thinking about it now ... lol.
