Can you duplicate it by bouncing the rear, or does it have to be driven to hear the noise?
My GF's Sundance makes a ringing/whisyle sound, but you can only get it to do it at less than 35 mph, and it will not do it at a stop. It is in the suspesion, As I have sprayed to crap out of all the joints with WD-40 and it will go away for a bit. But I have yet to pin point it, because it will not go away immediately.
That, and the car is really not worth putting that much effort into.
16 year old Ohio car FTL! Being that she doesn't do anything but drive it doesn't help either. The only attention it gets is when I look at it.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

when you bounce the car at standstill, you hear nothing. when you drive it you hear the noise over road variations and speed bumps, so i am thinking about hanging from the exhaust while my wife drives to figure out where this is coming from
seriously, i have never had anything like this before, i feel it is coming from somewhere around the strut tower. as i said i inspected the thing again yesterday and nothing looks out of the ordinary. i even disassembled the strut/ spring and put them together again to be sure. you can imagine how much fun that was ........
man i am tired of these project-spoilers.......this should have gone smooth as the whole idea of getting these tokicos was to get some peace of mind..... that did not happen !
Problem SOLVED!!!
It was the e-brake bracket that connects to the trailing arm...it came a bit loose due to taking the strut apart a couple of times.....it was rubbing a bit when the car was driving froward. also the the e-brake cable itself was rubbing against the knuckle .....it was so hard to diagnose since it only showed up while the car was driven......
Man, what a relief...i thought I needed another new(new) strut ......

New rims are on!!!

The pictures are not great since the sun is so bright and casting shade, but they look much better in person, although i hate skinny tires, i think i can handle these for a while
good thing i dropped the car though.....i have received 4 compliments from people at random about the rims since yesterday. hopefully they will not get stolen

what do you think????

This was from yesterday when the tire pressure was super low..

Rear, also pressure super low. they were in storage for a year!!

Hey there's nothing wrong with that hooter supporting device. It lets the highbeams shine through nicely. What more could you ask for?randomZERO wrote: loose the hooter holder
It doesn't look too bad on the car, but i'm not a fan of them due to the high maintenance of keeping them clean underneath. But then I also live in Ohio. The car stays clean for almost 1 day a week.
