Hey guys I got a question here that I wanted to double check on before I finish assembling my car in the next 2 weeks.

I have the mopar lip kit that im installing myself on my car but I already have the dual exhaust rear bumper. I want to know the lip kit i got has just the right exhaust spot punched out which is fine because I found a aftermarkt right exit only muffler but is there any issues with the lip kit and stock or aftermarket exhausts. do I have to modify any part of the exhaust since im using the lip kit? thanks 4 all the help guys, mitchell

Which dual exhaust do you have? R/T? if so then the cutouts on the rear lip will work fine. if not you will need to measure the distance between the tips and compare it to the "cutouts".

If they don't work you'll need to make your own design to fit the exhaust tips

I have the SRT rear section and it fit like the above and I wanted to make it fit in the cutouts so I cut and rewelded it so it would work.

i have a thermal muffler and srt rear bumper. The tips don't line up. =( Guess its time to roll the bumper

I believe mine is the R/T or SXT bumper, but doesnt the lip extend below the actual cover like the front 1? I see on the back side of the lip kit the marking to do duals but I like the look of the 1 out on the right side. The muffler I'm getting is a 4" tip but looks just like my factory r/t just not duals. I wasn't sure if anybody with the Mopar kit has done that, and if so i was hoping some one can chime in. thanks 4 all the input and pics so far. keep them coming.

Yes

These are for the R/T stock dual exhaust

I have 4" tips on my exhaust and they didn't fit well into the cutout

What kind of exhaust are you getting?

I forgot that you could roll that center part up in the rear lip.

Just like the SRT's? if so I might have to notch out the drivers side and roll that biish. I think that would be cool. as far as the exhaust it is a BBP. I was wrong its a 4.5" tip im just hoping it dont sound like a pissed off weed wacker or ill be sad. any hint on how to cut the bumper and give it a clean look? Thanks, Mitchell

Wow thats fuckin insane how yours comeout I guess I better start drinkin to steady out these dick beaters LOL I kinda thought you were gonna sy a dremel any specific attachment advice? thanks again man and your car looks sweet what all have you done to it? im assuming a lowering kit there 4 ure car because she looks to low not to be a lowering kit....

I used cutting blades to get the larger areas trimmed out and then sanding rings to smooth it over.

I was going to do the same thing on my '03. Though I didn't do it because I didn't like how it looked on the early 2003 bumpers (you'll need a 2003.5-2005 rear bumper for it to fit correctly.

I cut out the majority of the hole with a heavy-duty scissors. Then I picked up a 3" sanding flap wheel thingy at the local hardware store to smooth everything out and bring the hole to the shape of the molded line on the back.

^ I used something like this to smooth out the cut.
