Looks tight dude. Can't decide if I'd rather see the lip paint matched or not...

I think paint matched; but honestly I think the 03+ front lip would look better, check out mine on the picture post.

I've never been a 1gn fan at all, but if you make that photoshop a reality Mike then yours will be by far one of my favorites.

I truly appreciate all the compliments, and the ideas. I'm very happy/proud of this car, so forgive me if I come off to strong in saying...

the lip is neither being painted, nor removed. end of story. sorry.

smokey, thank you. it means a lot, and yes, the wheels will be painted soon. if not this weekend, then next, if not then, it'll be the morning of the meet.

Why not just take an hour and pull the tint off? Completely clear windows are better than purple windows.

The shocker was lame and played out 5 years ago, it's unbelievably lame and played out now.

Other than those two things, it looks good. The painted wheels will look pretty good, you could even grab some red pinstriping at your local parts store and put it on the lip of them to add a little something more to them.

tint removal scares me. I've heard its an absolute pain in the ass. I've never tried it, and wouldn't know where to start.

as for the shocker, played out to some? sure. played out to me? nah. I've had it on my last 4 cars (cept my Mustang), and will prolly have it on every car from here on out, tnk is the shocker...

the red pinstripe is a definite possibility. I've been considering it, and the wife loves the idea, just not sure I could execute the application cleanly.

I think that you're thinking of 1st gen R/T's, which had silver stripes, with the exception of white R/T's, which had blue stripes. ACR models never came with any significant badges at all, let alone "racing stripes".

It's really not that bad. The worst part os the smell and removing the old glue off of the windows after the tint is pulled off. Just grab a box of razor blades, cut it loose in a corner, and pull. If you're lucky, most of it will come off in big sheets. It's really only an hour or two job at best and it would make the car look a lot fresher/cleaner. Convince the wife to help, lol.

haha, coilovers are in the future, but not in the budget currently. as for rims, definitely also in the future, but not right now. runnin what I can, and doin what I can with what I got, ya know? buyin a house, payin bills, and feedin the fam puts a bit of a cramp in the car parts purchasing department

Damn those sxt 7 spokes look sweet on there. I hate them on 2gns though. You should paint the wheels either gunmetal or black with a red lip!

working on it... just had windows tinted. need to finishing lowering the rear and refinishing the 18's, and paint the new hood, and intall avs spoiler, and install r/t sides, and.....
