amp power help...
it's like this. i used to run two 12" pioneer subs off my stock speakers. i ran the audio input to the amp from the right rear 6x9, and the remote off the left 6x9. it used to hit one of the hardest on post. i hooked up a new jvc head unit, 200 watts, and the shit don't even hit. i hooked it up the right way, everything. i tried hooking it up like i did from the rear 6x9s, but it doesnt hit. any info? i just want my subs to hit hard again...
whats the watt output on the jvc?
some stock stereos have higher output then stock..... did you run rca cables from the deck to the amp? what size cables?

stock stereos will do no more than 25w rms, while they say they do 50w but thats PEAK, of course the higher pre amp outputs the better the power will be, get an amp that will power the speakers and subs and u will be fine, dont expect to be happy when ur powring something off the headunit.
Pics soon.

you sure about that?
06 eclipse stock stereo puts out way more than that... this is just one example....... now if you say chrysler/dodge stereos... thats a different story, but i don't think thats what they put out.
