hey guys, i installed the diffuser this week, and didn't get pics til today. i figured i'd just do a mini-shoot, to show you where the car stands now since it's been wingless, srt rear bumper, and all that other jazz listed in the first post. oh, and steelies ftl. can't wait for my nt-03's
. enjoy.

any other canucks (or people from new hampshire, or maine) will understand the tim horton's cup below. it's lifestyle here, kinda like starbucks is in the u.s. i guess, haha.

clearest pic of the diffuser.

a couple pics with the owner (your's truly).

...and a couple interior pics as requested earlier in the thread.

so...anyone wanna guess what the rear diffuser is from? i still need top fiddle around with it to mount more flush with the bumper, incase you're wondering why it's not completely flush already.
thanks for looking.

yeah...i realize the shadow really makes the diffuser hard to see. damn sun! actually, i shouldn't complain about sun, i've been waiting all winter for nice weather, rather than all the snow we got this year.
thanks for the compliments LSP. i really can't wait to get my wheels though, they're gonna set the car off. especially with my RAYS lugs. mmmmm.

update on the wheel situation...they should be purchased next week in full, and arrive the following week. i will also be purchasing a set of rays lug nuts (blue) with rays locking nuts. these things weigh nothing!
in addition, my tires should be here next week, and i'm going to be putting them on a charge account at work. they're 215/45/17 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport's. i chose them for the odd autocross day, but more for a street/performance tire. the treadwear is up around 360 i believe...much better than the Hankook Ventus RS-2's i had last year. they were sticky, but the treadwear was only just over 200
. these should be better for a DD.
scott.

i did not want to cut the right side off, because the less surface area it has, the less air it channels away from the bumper. i chose functionality over making the fins centered. although i agree that it looks staggered to the left.
i'm still undecided on it. i may actually try to fabricate a full diffuser instead, but we'll see.

hah. fine.
the diffuser is from a 2006 subaru STi. i will take pics at some point of how it is mounted, and trimmed to fit. i'm the first person that i know of that has put one of these on a neon, or srt. it was actually easier than i thought it would be, too.
oh, and my tires arrived today! woot!
