2001 neon rear control arm

Hi
The 2001 neon has a rear control arm that sits so damn close to my 17x7's its scary....

My wheels are a 40 offset....

can anyone tell me if a 42 offset wheel will fit without hitting this control arm

I want ot buy the motegi SX5 wheel 5x100 and its a 42p

please help

42mm will be closer inwards... so not a good choice unless you want to run a spacer...

yea, dude...yer going the wrong way...u want to go less off-set...

here's a pic of how close my rear arm is with 16" MB Drifter wheels with a 38 off-set... 205/50 tires....
