NEW STUFF
Okay so I just spent like $200 on random shit I probably don't need. Cam seal (without club), Gates Racing Blue timing belt, Gates Racing blue accessory belt, Gates water pump, Litons timing belt tensioner, and some black Prothane motor mount inserts. I has a Comp 400 ready to go in as well. I think eventually I wanna get an UDP and ODP but I'll wait because I just spent $40 on the accessory belt.
I've a new pulley and tensioner bracket assembly that I can swap out for the accessory belt. I dunno if I need another cam seal or not.
FUTURE PLANS
Soon I'll work on my transmission and do my suspension. I need some Tokiko Blues, but people only seem to be selling them as a set so I guess I'll go with new. I've got some Mopar lowering springs I'll be using to go along with them.
I also plan on upgrading the suspension bushings, maybe replacing the LCAs, and probably eventually getting larger sway bars. But suspension is a few months into the future. Also I need pads and rotors. While I'm doing the rotors I'll probably replace all of my wheel studs so I don't have to worry about them breaking. I guess I could get new hubs all around but I'd rather spend $20 for all new studs than whatever 3 new hubs would cost.
PAINT
I need to get the car ready to paint. I'm tired of waiting on the guy I used to work for, and since I'm working 7 days a week with my only off day being July 4th, I'll probably drive down there and pick up my parts and just buy a compressor and everything else I need and paint the shit myself. I have a front R/T bumper, eyelids, rear decklid, and probably can find some other random shit to paint, too. Oh, my left rear quarter by the tail lamp is rusted, so now I have some random primer and some Mopar touchup paint on it. Looks like shit. Also the underside of my sunroof could use some sandblasting and a fresh coat.
WHEELS
I really like the idea of having wide wheels. Like 16x7 or 17x7 or 17x7.5. But I have a set of 5 Silverstones in great shape I planned on powdercoating. I really like my fat 5s, but... Eh. I wanna keep everything and not sell it ever! But the Fat 5s will probably be sold eventually, maybe to pay for some of the cost of powdercoating the Silverstones. Or maybe I'll find a better wheel I like more and get rid of all of it. But I think I'm gonna powdercoat the Silverstones and go from there. It'll be nice to have a full size spare in my trunk that is soon to have no wing on the back.
LIGHTING
I love my CLK tails, except for the fact that they don't put out enough light with stock bulbs, and the shitty LED plug in bulbs almost do a worse job. Supposedly Kornholio did some LED strips in his tails? Since the CLKs aren't textured on the inside to help diffuse light, I might as well use a candle to illuminate them. But if I had a bunch of LEDs.....
Also, I plan on getting retro-fitted HIDs. I'm tired of not being able to see well at night.
LIFE
I'm sleepy. Working 7 days a week with no days off at a Thai restaurant, cooking. I need to find decent shoes, nothing seems to keep my comfortable for only 6 hours on my feet. WTF.
Also, I spend half of my money on gun stuff. Good thing I don't have a girlfriend, or I'd have NO money. Just buy stuff for my car and buy stuff to make things go bang and eat at work and pay off some bills I guess. Such is life.
Oh yeah, 24/7 customs something or other is gonna make me an emblem for my SRT-P bumber. It'll be sweet. Then I'll go take some pictures. You know, one of these days when I have time.
Although I should take pictures anyway. I need a new avatar.
