The "trim" was new panels, complete. So I popped the old panels off and put the new ones on. Went to the dealer and borrowed their window crank puller tool, though.

Well, shitty condition means uh, I hit a rabbit, and the lip kit just has the shitty 1 coat of paint. Since I work at a body shop part time, I'm fixing it. Fixed the crack the rabbit made (after I pulled all the fur out of it), getting it ready to paint here soon. Gonna fill in the holes from where the license plate was attached, if I didn't already. It's been sitting in my basement for a while, haven't looked at it.

You still have too many bumpers....make a love seat out of one, coffee table out of some cams, bumper coming through the wall, etc. Who needs furniture when you have Neon parts?

Put a spoiler-less decklid on tonight. Fucking bugs drove me and JBucky nuts, but we did it. I can't believe how nice it looks.

It was at like 11PM last night when we got finished. Too dark and I didn't want to turn on any more lights and have millions of bugs instead of just thousands. But yeah yeah, I'll go take one.

Yeah sure. Not too often, though. He's sort of a flake.

Thanks, Gramps.

Yeah I planned on getting the PVO spoiler or whatever the hell, but after I put it on last night, and looking at it, it looks really nice. I'm really surprised by it. I should take another picture from a front angle cause I think it looks really cool that way, too. And maybe from the side.

It doesn't look as... Long, maybe, as other cars. The trunk area anyway. I think it has a big thing to do with the window tint, and the fact that the car is black.

She's a whore. Just moved into that house. It's still on the property, just a smaller house that sits behind it more than anything. I was gonna move in there but the family decided they'd let their daughter live there. Stay up all night inviting multiple guys over, etc etc. :P

In all reality, it was the Neon's first, but lately it's become overrun by this little blue gokart.

The Gokart needs to share! My SXT sits in a rock pit  Too much moisture here to park on the lawn, car would be riddled with rust in no time.

Agreed. It used to share, but I've had it off it's trailer for some time now to work on it and "drive" it. We're eventually blocking it off and filling it with rock (the sandpit) so I'll have a "true" parking spot.

Crushed stone? That's what I have in my driveway. It sucks when you're working on the car and drop something though....forget trying to find it.

Anywho...Chris what's next for the Neon? When are you going to paint it?

Fuck I dunno. Eventually. It really needs it now with that eyesore of a decklid on there, and the spot that's still in primer after 6-8 months.

Next... Dyno it. And then do my timing belt/Comp 400.

I got a box of frozen pancakes in the mail today! :D
Image
Sadly, when I opened the box, I found no pancakes.

But I did get new tails!

Now, the clear plastic will be slightly tinted. The red plastic will become more red eventually. Standard lights will be LEDs. And I'll see if I can somehow make my LED boards fit inside them. But who knows.

Nah, that's just my old decklid. The "new" one is still an hour away, in primer, waiting for me to drive down there and finish it.

They don't fit with his 02 rear bumper he has. Pancake box was false advertisement.
