rip off at leschwab!

Post by Xtian » Thu Apr 02, 2009 10:31 pm

So, about a week ago I went to Leschwab to replace my inner tie rod, because of loud tapping noise on my driver's side wheel.
But, before I explained that I think that the tie rod is bad one of the guys took my car for a drive, well he said it was the tie rod making that noise and it was loose. Okay good I paid $291 for inner tie rod, alignment and wheels rotation. It worked for a week, until today, the noise was even louder than before so I took the Neon back to Leschwab, explained the whole situation. Their "boss" took my car for a drive and when he got back he said :

leschwab:"The tie rod was not your problem, the wheel bearing is what you have to fix".
me:"well, why then I paid $291 for a part that was not causing the problem"
leschwab:"well the guy that you talked to said that you wanted to do an alignment, he said that your inner tie rod is loose that's why he sold it to you, because the alignment cannot be accurate with a loose tie rod"
me:"I told the guy to take a look at my car to see what is causing that tapping noise and give me an estimate for the repairs, I didn't say that I need an alignment"
leschwab:"I will talk to him tomorrow and see what was the conversation about, maybe you misunderstood him. I have your phone and will call you as soon as I get a estimate on your wheel bearing, OKAY?!"
me:"mhmmm" :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

So I was about the pay $190 for "check-up" on my car's brake system, undercarriage etc. But the cashier guy said "ugh..what the heck you've been here before you bought some nice tires so we are waiving that for you...haha" :tardbang:

I can sortof believe it. LesSchwab is a scam in this town. The guys are always trying to sell you unneeded stuff like telling you your brakes are gonna go in 5k and then when you come back for a rotation the brakes have lots to go and don't need replacing. It just depends on who you get. :banghead:

so... when are you just going to up and leave this forum? No one here likes you, you lie about anything and everything for no good reason. When called out on it, you lie even more.

We're douches to you, because you're a fucking moron... and that's putting it lightly.

lol...I can vouch.

I just said the $500 paint job for a hood was too expensive, and should be around $200...and then he calls me out and challenges me to call maaco myself. And I was only suggesting that he'd go to another shop instead of that one....

And I thought I'd like you because you're a Steel Blue owner like my self.

You dick.

Of course, we're assuming he's not just taking pictures with a random car like he *allegedly* did with *his* SRT...

And then Silver ES and I actually called and got numbers much less than he did.

Oh I called my favorite shop about getting my hood done (real pros... top-o-da-line work) for $400-500 so Maaco couldn't be that much...

As for the Name calling on my behalf, I couldn't think of any proper description as to why he was having so much trouble with so many resources at his finger tips... Sorry.

You know, I'm thinking that he's being legit this time, but he's cried wolf so many times before no one really cares anymore.

I'm starting to think someone on here just made his account to go incognito and make hilarious threads. Oh, on a sidenote, isn't it about time for Preston to make another screen name and come back?
