Ghetto? Yes. But I think it’s quite ingenious to use a tb as an exhaust cutout valve.

I think they were referring to the fact that it's blowing super hot air right onto the floorboards, without a turndown or anything, more than that.

Yeah I saw that too. As long as its an Al. TB and not a plastic one I could see it work. But I would add a turndown and I not sure how tight that seal would be?

You don't understand why it's fail, or why someone would do that, or you're joking?

He extended the shackles (were the leaf spring mounts). This is about the worst way to lift a truck unless you are doing about an inch with revolver shackles (gives better flex offroad). Image a truck on stilts, and that is what it is. The first time thoes home made shackles bend the entire truck is going to collapse and roll. Blocks would be a better way to lift it and even that is limited to a few inches MAX, and is still a bad idea.

Not to mention that he did not add any forward bracing (look at a sideways view of a monster truck) to them so the first time he hits a decent bump or rock offroading, his "lift" will buckle the entire suspension which will just about total his truck.
