00 Neon with 03+ Headlights
I have a base model 2000 dodge neon and I want to add srt4 headlights. Wikianswer is telling me this wont work because of different assemblies so I needed to check here.
I need new headlights now so I wanna just upgrade to the srt one's. I plan to get srt kit in the future. What do i need to make this work.

SRT-4 headlights? All 2003-2005 Neons have the same headlights, SRT-4's included. Just so you know.LyricsNLines wrote:I have a base model 2000 dodge neon and I want to add srt4 headlights.

Yeah, just don't go spending extra money for "SRT-4" headlights (if they're more expensive than the non-SRT) especially since like Gramps said, they're no different.Midnight_Rider wrote:SRT-4 headlights? Was it silver? I see a silver one around here all the time. Looks a little odd, but not as bad as I would have thought.contagious18 wrote:i seen a neon with the 00 front bumper and 03 headlights the other day

it would be intersting to see that area normally used for the turn signal, filled with a fog light, possibly cutting the 00-02 lights and mounting the turn signal part with the 03 lights but wired for a fog.03sxt wrote:Yeah, it can be done with some modifications to the front but looks a little off if you ask me since the pre-03's have an "integrated" turn signal.... or what about even some sort off hi or low beam and have the opposite within the the housing?

then y not just keep the 00-02 headlights and mod the turn signal part for the light you want.
I doubt it reflective enough for wat youre saying to do but meh

Actually, someone on here did that, but used low profile driving lights in the areas that the turn signals were... I can't remember who it was, though. It didn't turn out too bad, but I wasn't a huge fan of it. I'll see if I can't find the thread...w0158981 wrote:it would be intersting to see that area normally used for the turn signal, filled with a fog light, possibly cutting the 00-02 lights and mounting the turn signal part with the 03 lights but wired for a fog.03sxt wrote:Yeah, it can be done with some modifications to the front but looks a little off if you ask me since the pre-03's have an "integrated" turn signal.... I've been on that bandwagon since it started! And I still don't have the RT/ACR front on my own car!invujerry wrote:I really like the SRT bumper with 02 headlights look. I'm joining the "02 front, SRT rear, mopar sides" band wagon though.

I can get you one for $408. Thats my cost at the dealer. I just broke down and bought one there a week ago or so.

I don't care much for the turn in the headlamp. The signals can be difficult to see when there is a slight hill at an intersection. I have almost pulled in front of turning cars at a particular 4 way stop, because the signal is obscured by the glare of the headlights. Not the best design, IMO.
