Janitor in the house! Neon C/V on duty!

Post by Dodge Aries K » Sat Apr 11, 2009 3:26 am

Hi everyone. Not new to Neons... but I'm new to this forum. It seems neons.org is mainly for 1st gen stuff and now I own a 2nd gen beatermobile that's not under warranty like the last one I had (2004 Neon SRT4).

I present... SLOTH. The only 2000 Neon C/V.

This is one very special Neon. I acquired this car for $450 over at a dealer around here since it was going to be wholesaled. It needs a new clutch pretty bad but besides that it runs and drives pretty well. You can call it either Sloth or Utility Neon Version 3... same thing.

It needs some work but it should be an okay car. The biggest thing I hate about it is that it's a factory A/C delete car... and I wish it had A/C.

Anyway, that's that! Thanks!

C/V is from the stripped out versions of the Dodge Caravan. It stands for Cargo Version or as I like to call it Custodian Version... as what this is being UTILITY NEON QUALITY has rightfully earned.

I already knew about that designation for Caravans, just hadn't seen anyone putting that badge on a Neon before.

Welcome!

Looks like this first "mod" should involve a bucket of soapy water, a sponge and a hose. :P

Eventually... LOL. I'll put a thread in the project log for this thing sometime in the near future and it can be followed there :)

Hi Karl

So yours does NOT have A/C ??!?!?
I WANT YOUR CAR !!

But seriously, I would turn THAT car into an 'ACR-Wannabe'..... and make it a strip-out handling vehicle, just like the 1st gen versions...... :D

My '98 Neon is a stripped-down, no-option car..... and it is a blast to drive.

Welcome to 2GN !

If you want it Nick, come buy it or trade me a different MTX A/C equipped car for it. LOL

There's the link to the new thread I made about the car to help comply with rules. ;)
