Post by relenger » Sun Apr 12, 2009 7:33 pm

So i was looking at the dash out of my 2000 neon and seen there is a hole for a bulb and it say's rear foglight's
So all together there is a highbeam light.
Foglight's (Front) and forlight's for the rear
3 diff dumbie light's.. anyone shine some light on what that's all about??

ALSO the trac light i would like too be able to light (I have a AEM EMS) anyone know what need's to be done to light it? i know i can use justsome wire's and hook them to the bulb but i wanna use the regular harnes if at all possible??

european cars all have rear fog lights, but they are not fog lights in the sense that you know them to be. it is actually just an extra running light on one corner in the rear. most times, like on my other car, it is on the driver's side.

Actually, BUX Neons have two rear fogs (see pic below) that are operated by the smart switch on the steering column. Domestic Neons don't have the same wiring harness, unfortunately.

European Neons have different multiswitches (blinker & lights): They have 2 steps for the fogs. 1st pull for the front and then 2nd turn for the front+rear.

And for both foglights - they have a control light...

Stupid me, I meant "smart stalk", not "switch".

Nope. US, Canada and Mexico only, no BUX SRT-4's.

right - as you can see the lights are aftermarket. ugly stuff to pass inspection. they never offered 2003+ and SRTs in europe - so we have no BUX light setup. My SRT is self-imported and has special permission.
