so...its an 03 blaze red sxt dropped on tokico blues and sportlines. 18" motegi rs-5s. CF SRT hood. jbl/rockford/pioneer system. during the course of the last...oh, i'd say...year or so, i've done a few things....

-hit a huge crack in the road, blew out the siewall on my front rim and bent the lip on the rim. after that i wasn't sure about keeping the rims and suspension, so i threw the chrome stockers in the front.

-felt bad about wasting all the money on the rims so i got the wheel fixed and while they had it, they media blasted it and powder coated it silver. so i have 3 black rims and one silver(btw if you are in SoCal or anywhere really D&B wheel does amazing work)

-reenlisted in the navy, got a huge check for it and bought the RT lip kit. wasn't confident in my installing skills so it sat around till a few days ago.

-on the same check i got HIDs. didn't mount the left ballast correctly and it fell out while i was driving don the road. so now its back to silverstars.

-got some recaro speed seats. black with red stitching

-just bought some tires, so the 18"s are going back on tomorrow.

-just got done clay barring and washing the whole thing as best as i could. didn't realize that the dirtiest part would be the vertical surface of the trunk.

-also, i got so bored that i put on the front and rear lips. i think tomorrow i'm going to put the sides on. (and to those who might be worried about doing it, it really is easy as hell. the worst part was the three bolts on each side connecting the bumpers to the fender and quarter panel)

-after the sides go on, it'll be getting a coat or 2 of wax and a mean buffing.

-and i tink one of these days, i'm going to paint my rims bronze

so...i was out there trying to put on my side skirts, and found out that i don't have the mounting strips for it. so now i have to figure that shit out. but the pics will be up in a little bit.

the fogs are actually done with window tint. i wouldn't reccomend it. they look like shit close up. all sorts of bubbles and folds. i tried heating the lens then putting it on and heating the film then putting it on and tried doing both. they all suck...

anyone know of something that would work better?

and the wheels are 18" Motegi rs-5 the came in flat black (the face was the only thing painted) then i painted them a highgloss satin (?)/lowgloss clearcoat (?). and later this year they should be either powdercoated high gloss black with a blaze red lip or painted bronze

-oh, and while i was at the tire shop, i found a broken wheel stud on the back left. so i got to get that pressed in.

-and the front bumper needs to be painted.

-the door panels need to be done. the part that usually get taken out to wrap was taken out by me at some point and recovered, but now they've all fallen off, so i think i'm going to try fiberglassing and painting them.

-going to try to find a 1gn metal valve cover and paint that up real pretty like.

-maybe i'll try my hand at a ghetto blaster again. last one, i ended up messing up and just scrapped it due to lack of time and patience

-going to color match the interior if i get brave enough to try to pull the headliner.

thats about all i can think of right now, but we all know that there is more and more everyday...

its my hood. i need to adjust it. and the headlights kinda just float in the space. or wedged in. broke as shit. going to get the black projectors from mp. :drool:

i haven't tried moving my hood around in a while. maybe i'll get it right soon. oh yeah...gotta paint the hood pin/locks....

so today i put the skirts on today. put the screws in the bottom and sides and 3M taped the top edge. hopefully it holds.

sitting on jacks....

going to take a razor blade to the overhang of the 3m tape in the morning, put the wheels back on, get it on the ground and drive the sh*t out of it....and maybe hose it off....ewww them doors is dirrrrrrrrty....
