I'd rather be there than here, trust me. It's damn near 100 with almost 100% humidity here. I hate it. It's 10-20 degrees cooler in Green Bay now and when we'll be there, I can't wait.

Well, I finally called the body shop today and they refused to remove the molding like we originally discussed claiming that I'll be unhappy when the paint doesn't match underneath. Ugh. It's so frustrating. He says that he doesn't really notice that it's crooked unless you really stare at it, but I noticed it at a glance. It's my car, I notice and I'm unhappy with it right now. I'll just have to break down and do it myself.

They're supposed to do everything to your satisfaction which means taking off the molding and putting it back on the proper way or leaving it off alltogether.

Body shops suck man, it's worth it to learn it and do it yourself, because you do it the way you want to.

I'm not happy about it, they did a really good job on the repair itself, so I'll be back to them still for anything in the future as a good body shop is hard to find.

Even if I did know how to do it myself, I don't have anywhere to do it. Removing the molding will be easy, though.

I need to pick up some rubbing compound to fix the black panels on the doors on the outside, get the damned screws for the outer belt on the driver's door, get a small dent knocked out and I'm done on the exterior for now until I have money for wheels and tires.

Now if I just had the money for an Interceptor gauge to fill the top hole in my pillar cover....

I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything, but nothing ever happened with the Neon. I had surgery on my left knee at the end of Oct and found out that it looks like I have arthritis in at least that knee which explained the severe pain that I had been in leading up to the surgery. Getting in and out of the Neon became more and more painful even after having the cartilage smoothed out. In addition to this she was starting to have more problems with the computer saying she was running lean and stuttering a lot. With all of this, I realized that I had to start looking to get a different car. So this past weekend I took the $1750 that my local Dodge dealer offered me for trade and got a 2008 Caliber SXT.
