Not with a V8.

Its a Ford, for sure. The radio, A/C controls, steering wheel, all Ford. Not to mention a very Fox-like firewall stamping.

I still vote Thunderbird. Or possibly a 4-eyed Fox body.... Mustang or Capri.

Nice.

Once I said V8, I went back and looked. WAY too much room on the side of the head to be a V8..... The 2.3Ts are great engines. Though I vote to swap to a twin-spark head. ala, newer Rangers.

I had a '90 SuperCoupe for a while. Fast as shit and stock. Handling, cant expect too much from a car as heavy as that thing was. It was damn fun though.

We also had a '79 Mustang Pace car, with the 2.3T.... we never got around to fixing it up/restoring it, but it left us with a twin spark head in the back. I miss that car too, *sigh*

Yeah Im trying to expand my product line and my buddy let me drive his TC and I fell for the fox body. Ive been trying to find a fox Capri or an SVO but I couldnt pass up this deal.
88 TC
109,xxx mi
No rust I mean none
Ebay T3/T4 hybrid coming off for a clipped IHI which will in turn be coming off for a GT28RS or GT30R at some point
Ranger roller cam
Adjustiable FPR
Currently set at 15psi
3.73 rear gears

It is a heavy car but most of that weight is the overly upscale interior our $2009 car is sitting at about 2900 just from stripping the interior and trunk. Im keeping the interior it just means more tire, spring, brake, and, power

Sweet, my buddy just bought a black '84 SVO Mustang a couple weeks ago, bone stock with 69K original miles.

You should make a project log for this, I'd like to watch the progress.

Making the heavy car heaver I see no need for that plus I can get 300whp or so out of the 2.3 in ESP trim assuming Im making sense of the intercooler rule it should be enough to keep up.

:withstupid:
Nothing wrong with the 2.3l. Good power can be made with it. Just takes a crazy fuck like you or me to actually do it with a motor everyone else hates on. lol.

I miss weird builds. The '79 2.3l pace car, my V6 mustang, TII swapped '86 daytona, 2.5l TII/custom '89 Voyager,

One day, I will own another V6/5spd '01+ Mustang. I still have a 4.2l V6 in my garage, just waiting for some split port heads.

What's the rule on Ethanol? E85? 116 octane, that would rule.

Where are the better picts at!?
First two were okay since I could see what was going on even though the 2nd picture showed how nasty and dirty the interior is. Then the 3rd pict showed a random black girl laying on the carpet.
Then you posted nighttime picts that came out crappy.
Give me daytime picts!!!

It runs pretty good at 18ish psi. The G-tec says 13.8 I dont think so. She should have her first work out at the Porsche club auto-x this weekend
