I dont quite understand JDM.

1.what the hell is it?

2.I typed jdm in google and a bunch of crazy expensive honda parts came up. (3k for a hood?!)

3.theirs a sticker on this 80's honda in the parkinglot that says "JDM as Fuck" on it...wtf is that?

eh IRC it some what sprouted in northern cali and Washington in the mid-late 90s.. guys just being original for the time and ordering japense OEM parts and putting them on their cars...

they did mostly engine work and kept the outside of their cars clean(only a drop and jdmparts(jap oem))

then the word jdm took on its on life and warped into this identity we have to day

clean exteriors, slammed, yadda yadda yadda

Japanese Domestic Market, to be completely correct.

It is used to refer to a vehicle or part that is designed and released for the Japanese market. They have different regulations and likes/dislikes so that is why you see differences between releases in our automotive market and theirs.
