Your front emblems

Post by JeffM » Wed Apr 22, 2009 12:29 pm

Hey guys,

I'll be getting an '02 front soon so I decided to remove my emblem from my damaged '01 grille and get it prepared for the transfer. After looking at the emblem I'm wondering if I should do anything to it to make it stand out from the crowd (paint it or something). What does your front emblem look like? Share a pic, give a description, whatever. Maybe it'll give me some good ideas.

Never mind the fucked up bumper, but I got an emblem from the dealer for a first gen.

I also had a scratch on my 01 bumper.

But I changed my grill to a chrysler one with an emblem.

But I think this thread is only for the dodge grill with the crosshairs. If it is, my bad JeffM.

Yea, my dad backing into my car with a trailer hitch = fail.

My R/T front is in the garage, waiting for paint.

It mainly is BUT there are a couple different types of emblems for the Neon so I won't discriminate. :-D Any emblems are welcome. Plus I love your Rustoleum paintjob so you are extra welcome.

I am not really in a hurry to get rid of it.

First im gonna put on a front lip and eyelids, and then from there I will judge if I like it.

Not really what you need or want, but here's mine. I had it out, but decided I liked it better there, just black. It fills up the space, but still matches the lights, and isn't distracting. I assume the same theory could go for the 02 also.

EDIT: it's not chipped, just damn bugs.
EDIT 2: I go to all that work to take a picture and post it when I could have just said "look at my sig." It doesn't even have bugs on it there.

lol. Don't worry about it, Mike. I guess the point of this thread was just to see what everyone else had done with their emblems/grilles, no matter what company or year, so I could see the diversity of options if I decided to do something to mine. Everyone can post, even if their car is covered in bugs...

As for mine, it's been cleaned up and is ready to be put on my new '02 grille as soon as it gets here

if you look at my sig, you can see that I painted mine black/red the chrome piece does detatch from the black background piece. makes it very easy to do a two tone badge :)

I'm alittle surprised, maybe glad, that no one has mentioned those Transformer emblems.

Boy, when that movie came out, seems like there were 3 or 4 posts a day on those things.... boy, did that fad fade out fast!
