Any Job Can Eventually Suck

So I just found out that someone at work has become the biggest douche bag I've ever known.

After some investigation of my own computer at work today, I found something very disturbing.

Someone came to work Sunday night and went into my office. I don't work weekends at night, especially at a bank. Not only that, he went into my stuff around the desk and viola, found my computer log-in hidden away in a pile of notebooks.

He logged in as me and surfed porn. WTF was he thinking? I'm not sure if it's the security guard or someone else who has a key to my office. It was my fault to leave those logins and passwords but he went into my office with ease.

So I'll be talking to my boss about it because I don't let stupid shit like this implicate me whoever they are. I know who it is too, he was really dumb to leave many obvious traces behind. I enjoy my job but why in the hell ruin it for me? He obviously tried to hide his tracks but I've got evidence plus there's a security camera in front of my door.

Remember, surfing porn at work is a no-no, unless you're your own employer. I'm probably gonna be screwed (hope not) but he's going down with me.

We had a couple of janitorial people do that to our computers at my old job. The computers didn't have passwords (stupid yes, so was the computer techy who set it up) because multiple staff would be switching from computer to computer depending on their location. We installed cameras pointing at the computers shortly after and it stopped.

You should be fine as long as your employer knows your were not there at the time the sites were logged. Have him/her look in the history tab and check the exact time (under their respective 'properties' area) if they don't believe you.

It is definately better doing it than watching it. After the first minute or so of the flick, I loose interest also.
I would rather watch two women in the ring pummeling the hell out of each other.

If it was a sport, I would much rather be a participant than a spectator.

Ah... been there done that... many times actually.

An office is a minefield to be very carefully navigated.

You may get some warnings about leaving security information inside your desk but it sounds like you are covered otherwise.

I was only told to just change my password. I changed them twice and memorized it so I never wrote it down this time. We'll wait and see what happens this week but my boss said I should be cleared since I was never there.

It's unbelievable; he preached no drama or backstabbing at work and yet he started an example.
