feel sad, just saw a lot of people trade in their neon for some other cars. that's nothing wrong for sure. but neon has been stopped to make after 2005. what will happen if all the neons on this world are gone (there will be a day that all the neons die for sure)... especially most noticable neon in this forum. will neon be a piece of history after that? or same like the 1910 ford car, became a priceless historical sign of the automobile making in the US sit in the museum for people to respect?...

DAD: people in ancient world operated that thing running on the floor named dog neon by feet and hands.
SON: dad! is that a 'car'???

right.....

The best thing the neon has for collectability is it was the first SRT car. So maybe and that is a huge maybe, the neon SRT will be collected like the VW bug.

In almost all cases there will be the few that collect neons but most will end up crushed.

yeah i'm still practising my english, hopefully i'm gain progresses. thanks anyway for help. since i'm not a native english speaker, i do make mistakes all the time about the language. also my major is nothing deal with oral english so it is hard for me to practice in college. so please understand the situation and thanks.

Cool, I didn't know there was another asian on the boards.

I don't think neons are going to be colelctibles, because it had a bad reputation in the earlier years due to the earlier transmissions.

The bad rep was more due to the head gasket. The transmission was a general chrysler thing, not neon specific.

I think that the 1GN will eventually get its due for being ahead of its time and the first and only time that an American car manufacturer actually did a small car the right way. 2GN's- I doubt it, other than the SRT-4. But I love 'em anyway.
