Been having an ongoing issue with spark plug tubes slowly rising over time.

Today, that issue was finally fixed with the installation of new tubes and sealant.

No more socket & hammer in the glove box. :)

I drove her over to Xtreme Auto Collision Repair today to get a quote for painting my hood and bumper. Then I drove her like a bat outta hell on some fun, twisty, dirt roads around my house.

Today I questioned the sanity of purchasing 4 headlight bolts from the dealership for $40.00 CDN... but purchased them anyways... they will be here tomorrow.

I find it most interesting they have these in stock and even more interesting that the junk yard simply toss them out... it seems the junk yard folks are not aware of how much the dealers charge for these puppies.

Ya but I had this problem due to a couple reasons. All of which I figured out and fixed. I should have no problems now. But time will tell. I have a second brand new set at home if I need them too.

The toys wiring harness line was getting in my way by my gas pedal. Bugging the hell out of me. So I drilled a little hole in a random piece of plastic under neath the car and ziptied it up there and re-route it. Finally.

Boost leak tested the car. No leaks.

solenoid bracket thingy for intake was starting to get rusty and looked like ass. So I sanded it down, primered it and re paitned it black. Much better.

Drove fast to work, and then washed it because it looked disgusting after the latest Louisville rains. I plan on putting in some tinted tails within the next week or so...

...tried to do a bunch of things but was only able to drill the damned airbox cover off and pull the vacuum line to the cruise control.

Washed it at the local spray washer car wash. Ended up washing it myself at home then cleaning under the hood, getting the trash out of the inside, and cleaning up my rims and tires =)

I contemplated how I'm going to get the stock hydraulics to actuate a 600+hp clutch, thought about the fact that I forgot to have the hydraulics supply shop cut a couple inches off the braided line I'm using for a turbo oil drain, and got disappointed when I pulled my beater out of the garage while staring at my fun car on jack stands with no trans in it.
