CBD Grille+Cut Cross Hairs= ?

Post by mopar4life » Thu Apr 30, 2009 11:22 pm

I got to lookin at that grille and my bumper and haz a problemz. There isnt any mounting hardware and since I dont have crosshairs Im kinda SOL as the CBD rep told me it mounts to the crosshairs some how. So how have you guys put one in without crosshairs? I suppose I could put some short short screws into the bumper and not let em go too deep and hurt the bumper?

if i understand you correctly, its a CF overlay for the stock crosshair? if so, you could mold it in to the bumper from the back. not sure the whole process for that, but its an idea

ok...just looked at it. i think if you took a little fiberglass chop mat/resin and basically stick a bolt to the back of the bumper pointing towards the motor. then push the grill material over the bolt put on a washer and tighten it down.

sound feasible?
