I'm BluSoul...and this is an awesome forum

Post by BluSoul » Sat May 02, 2009 6:16 pm

Hi all,

I've been registered and posting on this forum for about a month, but I have never formally introduced myself, so I might as well do it now.

I'm a newwb, and my username is "BluSoul." I am a Maryland resident currently living in Baltimore, originally from the midwest, born n' raised in the Windy.

I own a 2003 Neon SXT, and it is a fun-to-drive car. However, its smaller than cars I've owned in the past. What impresses me about this car is that it has "whippability," and the high potential of being a performance car. Therefore, I'm keepin' it 'til the wheels fall off -- but I'm working against that ever happening. Currently, I'm in the planning stage for building up the whole car, beginning with the interior, suspension, and wheels. Hope to begin a project log soon.

Pics of my ride can be found in the thread below.

Hi to my neighbor in Silver Spring! once I get some mods going, maybe you can check out my neon. I'd like to look at how you got yours rigged, too. Everything is stock in mines for now...not much to see.

Hey, I'm from Baltimore too. Nice to see another person! I had no idea you were from there. When I get my 98 back together we're gonna have to meet up.

That's cool, but I wouldn't race ya'...car looks like it might be 10 seconds with those burners shoot'n off in the photo. By the way, got any track times on your car? And, where are the local tracks anyway; where are local neon owners determining their quarter times?

LOL I mean a meet so we could grill and just chill out. I'm not big into street racing, I love my car too much :)

I go to Capital Raceway in crofton. MIR is popular as well, just a little bit further from us. I don't have times for the car since it's been finalized.

Yeah, that'd be cool, hook up, chill, tell some stories, and things like that. I'll be heading to capital raceway once ready, won't be soon, though. As far as street revving, I am slowing up on the challenges myself. At first I thought about doing this, but some drivers are reckless. Its like when drivers eye you thinking that way, they start driving like there's no law, and they're accident-proof. They become more and more precarious, and YOUR car gets a reputation (i.e., you, not exactly your car).

I'm slowing down...I'll save my engine, some dough on gas, and I'll keep points off my driving record. I'll wait 'til I'm ready for the track.

lol... not exactly sure if I get that, but when neighbors are friendly, nothing's wrong with having BBQs with them, regardless of age or sex (or ethnicity, too, for that matter). However, I know some don't agree with this view.

Sokadao954, can you elaborate on exactly what you meant?

Whoa, dude....
One up for politics "by the people, and for the people."

I can't believe it, this is freggin' insane. I mean of the uproarious kind! I'm dying laughing over here. Shit dude! Unbelievable!! I'm wondering should you give a public apology like Micheal Vick, or just throw a copy of the DVD "Fast and Furious" at her door, with a towel with cum on it (on second thought, she'd probably have it DNA tested to bring you up on charges -- that wouldn't be good). I mean, c'mon, either the town is like Mayberry, or she's not up with the times, and is very "up stuck." Quietness is one thing, but holding the town at bay so she can't even here a needle drop is a violation of everyone else's rights. Here in Baltimore, fire truck sirens, police chases, and night people on the street, constantly keep a flow of disturbing middle-of-the-night dBs, and people in Baltimore pay taxes and have rights, too. I think she should take a chill pill with that...

Another Baltimorean...cool. Yeah, let's do it. I've got some mods coming up I'd like you to see, get your opinion on. Maybe you could even be right there when I do it, like when I change my headliner.
