Long time no post, so what up everyone.
I've had this problem for quite some time now but since my summer vacation is coming right up I thought I'd consult you guys and maybe get this thing fixed. So here's the deal. Sometimes (usually after a cold start) while I have the clutch pedal pressed down for like downshifting, turning or whatever the engine shuts down but the power stays on. Any clues what might be the problem?

So it basically just stalls?
The IAC valve might be dead. Are there any codes?
Try adjusting the throttle open a little, if it stays running, then I would look into the IAC.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Possibly the PCM side of the temp sensor is bad, if not...
Pull the IAC off, and "key on" with it connected the the wire harness. Obviously not starting the engine. The IAC pintle should go full open. If it is staying on the seat, either the IAC is bad, or the driver in the PCM.
If there is no voltage across the VT/GY and BR/WT wires the IAC driver may be fried. I would check with the IAC valve plugged in and disconnected. Also I would check the connector pins in the IAC with an ohmmeter to the IAC case to check if the coils are shorted to the case. I don't see it happening, but anything is possible. If the IAC is dead, you can slip some folded paper under the seat of the pintle to get you by. That is plenty to get a decent idle.
