I am starting this to keep me going on this and get some outside ideas. I have no before shotsof my Neon but I have owned it since it had 11 miles. This is the most normal unmodified car I have ever owned. I am a body man and do custom and fabrication work. I have had everything from high horsepowered turbo cars to nice custom classic Cadillacs. I just cant seem to get rid of this little Neon. We bought this for my wife as a daily driver and I ended up with it. It is a great car, never left me anywhere and good on gas. I have decieded to keep this thing forever.
So far as mods we bought the car with an SRT4 spoiler before an SRT4 was on the lot. After I was driving it I hated the rediculous wing so I took it off and welded the holes up. While I was doing that I decided to get rid of the trunk lock also. I knew from the beginning that the car sat way to high and needed to be lowered. So I found some Skunk2 springs on here and installed them. I also got the Mopar lip kitand installed and painted it. I recently bought some black housing headlights. I also have the very loud SRT4 rear exhaust section that I cut and rewelded so it fit the rear lip.
As far as future mods I am getting the greatest rims for a Neon tommorrow. I am looking at getting an HID kit 4-6000K. Maybe a retrofit. I have a set of Mini Cooper headlights with projectors and HIDS that would look awesome.Whenever I get 3 days of no rain I am painting the hood, roof, and trunk satin-flat black it is a custom mix. I am also repainting the car red again. It has 88k miles of of small rock chips and sun damage. I am very picky with my paint. I wish I would of kept up on this car like my others. I also need new struts and I have been debating on coil-overs or some nice struts. Lots of little detail things will just come along. Let me know what you think and throw some ideas out.
