A lot.

If you can get it for a pretty good deal I say go for it.

You get a whole lot in that package. I would plop that into a 1st gen shell and make it a nice daily driver. It would not be that much work if you found a DOHC car. Sell the parts off that package you don't need and buy the Neon parts you need to make it work.

well i did it
i have to talk to the seller and discuss a pickup plan
but i talked to my buddy and hes gonna go with me in his pickup to get it
but it will probably be a while before i put it in the car because i still have 2 years left before the cars paid off, and i want to wait till my 7/70 is over before i rip the motor out
so 2 years and 30K miles and then the swap will begin
but that gives me a while to collect all my necessary things and rebuild the engine if needed

Sounds like a good game plan. 2 years is a while away, but at least this will give you ample time to get ready

2 years! HAHA. You're going to drop that motor in and wonder why the hell you waited so long

F that! Pick it up and sell it off for parts and stack a nice pile of money in the bank. Keeping that thing for 2 years is going to be hearbreaking, cumbersome and painful. Part it out and then save that money for a down payment on something faster. I know that's not what 90% of people on here want you to do but I see so many parts on that set up that could bring you so much money split up.

I'd be really interested in picking it up from you to swap into my 05 with a 3.94 trans. I'd make it so you make a couple bucks.

well, im inbetween
ive got an 05 atx and i REALLY want more power
but i cant risk swapping and not having it run because its my daily driver and im still paying for the car
however some extra cash would be nice seeing as ive got like 2.5K worth of credit card debt im chipping away at
so what do u guys think cash wise id make for profit on a part out of this sort, or if INVUjerry were to pick it up whole?

that true. if u wait its good. more time to buy all the needed parts, and more to put the engine apart make sure everything looks good inside.

All I'd want is the motor and the harness. You could keep the rest of it, and probably sell it for profit, since I wouldn't use the ATX trans or the axles.

However, it's not terribly hard to swap since you have the NGC setup already. You'd just need the ECU, and a 5-speed trans, unless you want to do what graphite did and use a PT GT engine controller.

well idk what exactly id need, and whats really good on that setup, i mean how much of it could be useable, im only paying 100 bucks
and i just had to help my brother try o get a v8 flathead out of our garage and that was such a headache idk if i want one of my own
i dont have an engine lift, any sort of stands, and i dont have a full set of tools
so idk yet
if i did swap id like to use a pt setup and keep it atx
how much would u want for the motor and harness
