short story.stupid ebay.

Post by Neon4Life » Wed May 13, 2009 8:58 pm

so if you were a business and was selling a part in this case some tokico hp blues struts wouldnt you want the customer to know that you didnt have the entire set on hand. well yesterday early morning i purchased my tokico blues and was hoping to get a tracking number by today.well i didnt recieve anything so i messaged the business, they came back at me with " sorry we currently dont have the rear struts and itll be a wheek at least before we can have them " im like wtf.this is what i told them back " either you ship them out trough UPS Next Day Air when u recieve them at no extra charge or ill take my business else where." but dam i was hoping to be in stalling them by monday now it looks like next weekend. god ive had no problems in the past with ebay but just this one time really sucks especially when its something i really need cause i need to get my alignment done since one of tires is getting worn so bad. so moral of the story when ordering something make sure the company/business selling them has it in stock.

I also had suspicions when I was searching for Tokicos on ebay back then. I always saw pictures that weren't of the actual item, and they look like a different car's set up. Such as higher perches, different height, etc. So I didn't want to deal with any headaches with the possibility of the item being a fake or non-neon kind.

Ebay and wanting a part fast is not a good mix.

90% of the time a company on ebay will not get you a part fast. They're in no hurry... lol

Who did you order from originally and who did you order from now?

I ordered mine from Shox.com because Modern is not going to have any in stock until June. Mine are on back order for a week (seems Neon struts are hard to find) but they sent me a message telling me so that afternoon. I am willing to take that hit only because of the free shipping and the low price ($253 shipped).
