Been a long time since I posted...

Not a Neon of course, but it's what ive been up to for the last 3 months. Before that I was "building" an S13 for two years back since I parted out my 03 Neon

It's come a long way in a short period of time. Started out with a trip to the machine shop for the head, two big rust holes, and a sunroof that one of the previous owners decided leaked so they showed seal it shut with a big piece of plexiglass and CF riveted to the roof...looked like JUNK lol I may not be great at body work, but it's all fixed right and it cant be seen

That looks like a very nicely done flat paint job. Good looking car! And I normally don't say that about 1st gen DSMs...

How about a mods list?

The flat job is temporary, but i do like how it turned out. Planning on a metallic rootbeer, is a dark bronze-ish/brown.

Mod List so far is small but effective:

Refreshed head
OBX Tubular Turbo Manifold
16G Turbo
15psi

APEXi 3" turbo-back
Short-routed FMIC (going on this weekend hopefully)
Megan Lowering springs
Motegi DP6s
Mishimoto 16" radiator fan
Fidanza Short Shifter
MPX polished knob (the SRT4 one Modern sells)
MAP Shifter Bushings

I think it looks awesome. Perfect wheel size and design for that car. I don't normally like flat paint but for some reason on your car it looks great.

Thank ya Mr. King. I havent normally liked flats either, but it looks good for now until I paintPAINT it. My 2g Neon looked good flat for the few minutes it stayed that way :p

You know, too many people try to paint their car flat black in an attempt to be cool (ricers) but you pulled it off. I usually only like it on high dollar cars, but I'll make an exception for your car. Looks sharp.
