Production numbers??

Post by TwistedTunerz » Fri May 15, 2009 11:16 am

Ive been looking all over this morning for a website that has production numbers. I know there was a few that use to be out and a few for motorsport edition R/T's that even had a break down to which features and numbers produced. I'm looking to see how "rare" my 02 R/T really is

You'll have to email or call Chrysler and convince them to give you the numbers.

Call chrysler corporate and they should be very helpful. I've used them to force a dealership to honor a recall on my avenger some years ago, they were actually quite helpful.

I wouldn't trust the production numbers on any site at this point. My production # for my car is 603K something, but the numbers I've seen online don't even surpass 300k for 02. I thought maybe all chrysler vehicles were included when attaching the number to the end of our vin code, but I'm not sure how that works.

It's my understanding that various assembly lines were/are assigned "chunks" of VINs, so the last six digits don't relate to build sequence or totals.
