im planning on getting some hids for my projectors
so and H1 hid kit any body recommend a good kit
and do i have to get an H1 relay harness or a 9007 harness

bulb modifications are hit and miss.. some people have to and some dont........ i didnt... my bulbs fit in perfectly fine without any modification.Caraudioholic24 wrote:Also you have to cut the mounting nubs on your hids as it wont sit flush becuase of the way you have to slide in the HID bulb.
as for the kit...... i picked up ye 'ol cheapo on ebay for $55ish and it's been fine. no complaints. dont know how it would compare side by side to one from vvme but theres probably not a lot of difference.
and yes, the 9007 harness is correct.

8 k's will be a nice all around blue the 6 k's are more whitish.
just a note... when you put them in and turn them on..... dont worry about the color when you look at the projector, because of the quality of glass and the way it was cut it is going to have a light tint of purple. No way around it. I tried 3 diffferent temps and got the same. When you look down the road it will be the color you order
