Alignment done last thursday, my front tires were toast so I threw my 16" MB seven X's with Hankook K106 (205/50/16) off my old neon on so I had decent tires. had some time friday so she got all washed up. (of course it been raining sence...)

will be getting pics later.

going to put a headunit into the sonoma (fathers using it, he's sick of having no radio, gave me cash to get a radio and put it in, lol)

it sucks! this we actually did really early while the mud was sorta frozen still, later on you would just sink ankle deep the worse part is we have dumped probally a dozen tri axle dumptruck loads of stone to get it built up, put drainage in and it still gets bad.

def, looking forward to the summer when I get my garage finished, big diffrence, mud and outside to heated concrete floor and walls and a roof!

well, the guy down the road has several trucks and a pit... we traded some work (re built and welded one of his dump beds that flipped on its side.) so it really just cost some time.

yeah I could have used a Friends shop, just didn't want to drive to Hudson falls, I've always been the Grassroots type.my father helped me with it so it was fairly quick and easy. definitely cannot wait till my garage is done, (40' x 30', heated floor and 1 1/2 bedroom apartment upstairs to stay in while I am doing the house)

the lot is cleared, as soon as I can get the concrete pad poured it will take me probally a week to frame it and probally another two to finish it out. I have cash in hand for everything from start to finish, no loans, doing everything with me and my father, so no contractors. hopefully going to have it finished by late summer.

I have a few jobs coming up by mount snow, VT doing siding and converting a barn to a apartment building (2nd one so far) and a few welding jobs so I will be keeping busy!

I voted to get rid of body kit, but I would stick with the hood you currently have.

I like things neat, simple and clean, and feel that the body kit is an overstatement. Adding an SRT hood (unless you had one that I'm working on [shameless plug  ] would also be an overstatement.

[/b]Though........... [/b] I'm not in anyway saying that what you have done is bad or anything of that sort. I, personally, am not a fan of most body kits out there.

I like the kit, I want it to look less cheezy, it'd be one thing if I had a turbo or srt swap or something but it was looking a little too much like someone had watched The Fast and the Furious too many times.
I want to make it clean, with some subtle diffrences.

on the srt hood, I like it, it is a little more agressive than stock, and being oem it fits good and no hood pins. I like the cf hood but I hate the hood pins, I am considering the flush aerocatch latches, just not sure I want to go hacking it up.

I think after talking with nick today my decision is to clean the car up and make it stock looking, get her decent looking and try to make it down to carlisle this year. than over this winter I think I will go through the engine, turbo and get the interior out of its sad state. base 1gn 2door seats out of my 96 looks sexi, lol and finish making the gauge pod piller for the driver side (i'd buy one but I am going to mount the scangauge in there)

not much of an update, car hit 100,000 the other day,

the property is getting there, I have the ground built up, just waiting on a few loads of lighter stuff than starting on the concrete.

the amount of mud and bird crap on my car has me considering trading for a Subaru.. lol

and my favorite part, did a side job, got extra money, held onto it for 5 minutes, and now its gone, had to put tires on the wifes car. :banghead: I hate cars

Property is coming along nicely dug trenches and ran 1500 feet of power line and phone cable underground.

Neon, not much has changed, threw a set of plugs and wires and did an oil change a few weeks ago.

Lovely mornin ain't it! put my daughter in her car seat and hopped in to drop her off at grandma's and go to work. the brake pedle goes straight to the floor... WTF? moved it a little, very little brakes, got out looked around and found this beauty....
Image
the thing that irritates me is that the pads are almost as thick as new and I do not ride my brakes or over heat them, just something else the PO must have cheaped out on...

can you guess what I am doing today? its not going to work

another update in less than a month![/b] the sunfire alternator locked up so trying to find that at the jy for cheap, prob. going to get it running and sell it.

Mom's neon just took out the waterpump and head gaskit and I am guessing it chewed something up because the oil feels like sand paper. trying to talk her into pulling the 2.4L out of the sebring out back and building an Srt clone  I have another complete engine but it is SOHC so I am hoping the head is ok on hers.

So I got my tires / wheels back off that car so I have my car set for winter, and got the remote start installed and almost finished last night.

wouldn't pass inspection due to a bad ball joint, so I bought both complete LCA assemblys from advance (LCA, Balljoint and bushings $99 each) I wanted to use urethane bushings but couldn't wait on having them shipped. (I got a ticket at a checkpoint the day after I failed the inspection :banghead: )
Image
Car drives so much nicer quieter now! both ball joints were destroyed and the LCA bushings weren't far behind. I cannot believe the problems this car has had with the suspension and I am only at 109K miles!

on a lighter note I got one last wash and wax before the weather turns to complete shit.
