Swap No Power, 03 srt into 2000

Doing a SRT-4 Motor swap into your Neon, maybe even a 2.4... have questions about it, what you'll need or what issues you'll run into? Answers can be found in here.

Swap No Power, 03 srt into 2000

Post by 2001DodgeNeonSe » Sun May 17, 2009 11:48 pm

Any Ideas!!!

Checked Fuses
Good Battery
Swaped all harnesses minus RKE Transponder Module
Swapped in two differant PCM's in there with right Vin that matches the skim and skim key.
Checked Grounds

Do you need a RKE transponder to start an SRT swap or to get power to the dash? No lights on cluster
I know its for the wireless key fobs but it shouldn't effect it not getting power. It gets no power to the cluster, no fuel pump, nothing has power except Hazard Lights Work, Thats it.

Swapped all wiring harnesses except RKE module, Couldn't find it, My friend lost it somehow. Anyone have any ideas.

Update:(On a different car) Took the RKE Module out of my swap still got power to the cluster and it still started my car without it plugged in. So its not the RKE Module.

I would start by double/triple checking all those special wiring issue locations that are necessary to connect the body harness to the engine bay wire harness.

I guess it was a fuse. My friend said he checked them. But one was out. Thanks

Be sure to check the circuit that blew the fuse. They're there to prevent from ruining wiring and components in the circuit. They ALWAYS pop for a reason.
