My friend's 99 EJ8 Civic: new Rotas :)

Well my friend Bethany bought a new car on Friday and yesterday at a local meet I took some pictures of it. We have alot of work to do since stuff is missing, etc. But overall the car runs great

Oh and she raised it 1" to get it home but it needs to be raised a bit more and the fenders rolled because she can't drive ANYWHERE with coilovers like this.

She bought it with those wheels on it. We're changing them up a bit they need some love. Someone sanded them with like 80 grit then cleared them. They won't be silver much longer

I don't care for the center caps personally, we decided yesterday that they look like tits with nipples. Strangest center caps I ever did see.

Well we were originally going to change the center caps and paint the wheels, but she found some Rota's she liked better.

The poor little car has ebay coilover sleeves on tokico blue struts which are ALL leaking like crazy. So there are kyb AGX struts and Tein springs on the way for the little Honda. She's also ordering new headlights since these have been opened a million and one times. After that we may or may not have to roll the fenders depending on the height the car is at after the suspension change.

there is a black civic with the same body style around where i live with those same pink wheels. girl drives it also lol
it dont look bad at all either. her on the another hand, ah maybe if i was drunk lol

Either way I think I liked the old rims more because they were a little different than the Rota GT3 + civic you see all the time.

I can say the same. I used to love that body style on the civic. I also didn't mind the one before it, where it was more curvy. Oh well.

We are planning on a photoshoot once she gets the car as set as it's going to be for now. The new plastic panels for the interior come in tomorrow, as well as the struts/springs since these are absolutely blown to hell. The poor car rides horribly and it only has 58,000 miles on it! Honda needs lovins

I told her to paint the drums black, she's planning on doing the rear rotor/caliper swap and will paint the rear and front calipers blue again. She likes the pink with the blue...but I like the blue lug nuts I must admit.

So are KYB AGX struts better for Hondas than the KYBs are for our cars? Aren't they just a stock replacement? Anyway looks pretty good. That thing needs buffed though!

^ AGXs are adjustable they dont make them for neons.
