I've not dealt with any bulge, but if you get the vinyl ones, just apply them with the soapy water, and take your time. I had a hairdryer out when I was doing mine to get it warm and pull, etc...

i have no clue, i noticed the other day when i was cleaning my car, it could be from the soap ui was using or possibly the wax? i'm not sure what else would do it. but you can see the rainbow color around the cracks to let me know there from chemicals.....

so to put the vinyl ones i simply

- Clean the headlights to perfection
- peel off the eyelids
- Stick on
-Use soapy water over top of them
- Heat and stretch as needed
-use smoothy tool to ensure no bubbles

correct???

id put a drop of dish soap in some water, wet the headlights with that, then lay down the eyelids and align them then use a squeegee to work the water and air bubbles out from under. this is the approach I used for my cuda stripes

Don't put the soapy water on top of the eyelids....it needs to go on the side that will be stuck to the headlight. It's what makes the sticky stuff activate. I would:

1. Clean headlights
2. Lightly wet headlights
3. Lightly wet the UNDERside of the eyelids with soapy water.
4. Set on headlights, and move to your liking...up, down, centered...just make sure the other headlight mirrors it.
(5. Use hair dryer for heat if vinyl needs stressing or some extra 'umph' to fill out the headlight.)

Step 5 is optional. Good luck! Just be sure to keep soapy water on it, cuz if it starts to dry up, it'll stick right there in place. Also, a a dryer or outside form of heat will dry it and make it stick, so only use that when absolutely needed.
