wtf someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. whats the deal dude. hes just trying to mod a neon like everyone else. not everyone has money to just do everything at once. i mean dam i once too had an unpainted kit and 3 colors on my car but i had money to get it all done at the time but hes working on getting everything done. so cut him some slack. and SXXXT wich is the one helping him is gonna do a good job painting it too cause they work at a shop with a booth and he went to college for it. so just let him have an unpainted kit on his car.
Comments like this... ":thefinger: haters" piss me off. Thats why. If you have something that looks like trash, smells like trash and gets tossed around like trash.... it might be trash. I clearly said above "I understand you can't afford to pay to get your kit painted" Then I get a comeback like "I own my car and my wife's car and I have 3 CD's I'm ballin baby" and then he steps on himself by saying he's waiting for time so him and his buddy can do the work themselves. Now which is it... you can afford the paint job or you are waiting to do it yourself when you have time?

SXXXT - Yours is a bit different man. You have custom work going on. Your car is a work in progress but you have MADE progress. This car isn't. Its a bolted on unpainted body kit.

If you saw a Civic driving down the road in the same state as this car what would you say or think? Admit it to yourself, you don't have to post it here.

OP: Maybe I come off a bit harsh. A lot of that has to do with your attitude. Its all gravy. I don't hold grudges and I'm sure that by the time I get back to the states you'll have this thing painted and looking better. I'm from Cincinnati so theres a good chance we could rub shoulders at any number of events if you go travelling to shows. Good luck with the car but please for dear god stop giving Neons a bad name.

here is the color i plan on painting it two-tone
Image

Thats nice.. My 2002 had similar lights on the inside.. I miss that car..

that two tone is gonna look sick.. Are you gonna do like a flat black or a gloss black. I think a semi flat black with a decent pin stripe between the two colors will look sick.. Definitely a nice choice of wheels. I love my silver 5 spokes. Very simple and they look alittle bigger because theres no lip lol..

god where do i start?? trash?? umm no its a very reliable car thats changing it might not be getting done as fast as u want it to and for that im deeply sorry. next u should watch quoting ppl cause i never said :tardbang: "im ballin baby" :tardbang: and i dont think smart investments and planning ahead financially is “ballin”, and having 20" rims on a neon is ridiculous if not ricer, u trying to compensate for something with the rims??? and as for stepping on myself i didnt get into my financial situation by being stupid with my money, the reasons y i want sxxxt to help me is that i dont know how to fiberglass and i want to know how and when is saving money a bad thing and 3rd my car is built not bought by me (with a little help) im not going to just throw money at a shop and have them do all the work. and u really shouldnt be questioning if i can afford a paint job, please. and my kit needs work before paint, its not just a bolt on as u said. and as for grudges i dont have em, just stop being a dick towards me and stop bumping my thread with pointless rants-

If they are so pointless why are you compelled to reply to them? Do your thing man. Its your car. I'm just me, the guy with the 20" rims compensating for his small penis who doesn't know jack from squat about Neons or SRTs for that matter.

Just get your body kit painted and do something with the car. Thats all I'm saying about it man. You are trying to defend your actions by saying I don't know you. Its all good. I don't need to. Sometimes people need to hear the harsh reality.

See the difference? If pointing out the truth, being blunt about it and nailing it home is being a dick.... Then I'm guilty as charged.

Thats it... I've said my piece. Go about your merry little way and good luck with the car ;)

Why are you putting that on your N/A car? No mufflers, or glasspacks?

one big reason is that the body kit has dual exit exhaust so... and i will be doing the srt swap so might as well get it now. and the myth bout loss power with 3" exhaust isnt true its increased in the mid range.

looking like some progress is being made... was ur hood bent or something? it looks like it does not line up on the passangers side headlight? or is it just the angle?
