So I'm sitting here in third period, just finished my final, and I think "Holy crap, this is the last time I will ever get on 2gn during a high school class in my life!" (Today is my last day)
I just got a little sad. Then I thought "what the heck, the pictures take forever to come up on this slow laptop anyway!"
And then I got really happy knowing I will never HAVE to get on 2gn during a high school class again in my life!
Graduation FTW!

Leaving high school was not a sad time for me.
However, about 5 years ago I went back to school for a coupla years and really dug into it... I had a blast the whole two years and was quite sad when it was over.
The gang all said we would keep in touch. I organized a few supper get togethers; however, the turnout was truly pathetic at the last one after so many of them said they would be there. I have given up on trying to keep them together... someone else can take up the baton on that.
I don't know if you are finished with school... but life definitely changes once your school days are behind you.

^^yeah it's not the greatest thing but it's better than taking tests every week and doing homework that you aren't getting paid for.

Congrats from me also! I was SO glad to get out of high school, hated every minute of it. Haven't seen the majority of my classmates since and hope that I never do.

I'm with all of you, was glad to get out of HS and away from the people I hung around with during that time.
I don't see anyone I go to HS with since I'm about 450 miles from there but when I was up there for a weekend a few months back I stopped at a store in the area I grew up... holy crap did I see a ton of people I went to school with, bagging groceries, stocking shelves, etc.. Now I don't claim to have some elaborate high paying job but when during HS these people kept saying they were gonna make it big time... now they're bagging groceries and pushing carts... made me laugh.

Is your school like mine was where they didn't give you your diploma until a week or so after graduation?
For us, when you went on stage, shook everyone's hand and took your diploma it was only a blank piece of paper. We didn't get the real thing until a week after and you had to pick it up at school. The reason they told us at the time was so you didn't do anything stupid during the graduation ceremony. If you did something they wouldn't give it to you.

We just got the holders, same thing for both of my college degrees. They mail the diploma at a later date. That way the morons don't screw up when you cross the stage. Genius really. LOL Tards. And I still work at a supermarket, but no one else would put up with my college class schedule so it works for now ha ha. Then again I'm the only one out of my group of friends that even has a degree from college. Scary.....

High School was so lame. I hardly did any work and graduated with a 3.3 GPA. Took an AP class my senior year, that was the only challenge.
I was almost always late to the AP class too since it was at a different school and I had a problem getting up early enough. We would screw off during our travel period because we had 45 min to make a 15 min trip.
One time my Monte popped a heater hose on I-95 so I got a ride back to my house, loaded up the truck and trailer, backed out the race car and went and picked it up. Backed it into the driveway, on the first try no less, then unhooked and drove the truck to school. Not bad for being 17/18 and never towing a 24' enclosed trailer before.
Then when I got to school they marked me late. I was covered in coolant and they said you are late, no excuse. I thought shit, if I knew it would be against me I would have taken a shower so I wouldn't smell like sweat and coolant.
