kidney transplant
So yesterday morning I donated a kidney to my father! The kidney started working right away and he is doing fine, as for me I woke up to some blistering pain but after some REALLY good pain medicine I'm able to walk and will be dicharged from the hospital tomorrow. Just thought I'd share that with everyone.

Awesome! That is a very respectable thing you did.
Brother will kill brother Spilling blood across the land
Killing for religion Something I don't understand
Fools like me, who cross the sea And come to foreign lands
Ask the sheep, for their beliefs Do you kill on God's command?

That's awesome man!!
I've thought about getting on a donor list, but I think I'll just hang on to them for if someone I love is ever in need.

I feel the exact same way. Though I am listed as an organ donor on my license I would prefer to keep my kidney in case a family member or spouse might need one. Amazing what you didChris04sxt wrote:That's awesome man!!I've thought about getting on a donor list, but I think I'll just hang on to them for if someone I love is ever in need.
