can you still bypass the e-brake for indash car dvd players? sorry if this is a re-post, just wondering.

there should be a sticker on the back that says something like "don't remove/voids warranty". behind that there should be a wire you can cut. that should do it.

or you can take it to an audio shop and they should be able to do it or tell you how to do it.

wow. that made the top 10 list of the worst info i have seen on this forum. opening up the hu and cutting wires is the last thing you should ever do to resolve a problem unless you are a qualified tech. i take that back. unless you are a qualified tech you should never open a hu and start cutting wires.

search google with your model number and you will find bypass info, if it can be done on that model, pretty easy. some are as easy as grounding a single wire or putting a toggle switch inline with a ground to simulate engaging the parking brake. some can't be bypassed.

Yea what you got. I have done quite a few. Have a couple of tricks to some. Let me know

As far as I know old Pioneer units required a ball of solder under a piece of silver tape on the h/u. But it was reversable.
