Question about rear seats
Question about rear seats
Ok so I noticed that Mark II cars ('03 and on) have integrated headrests in them (including every SRT-4 I've seen), but my '00 SE has adjustable-height headrests on the rears... but I've recently seen some Mark I cars that have fixed/integrated ones, too. Was it just the SE's that got the adjustable height ones?

Re: Question about rear seats
Ive never heard of Mark II and Mark I... might want to just say 1st gen and 2nd gen.Arro wrote:Ok so I noticed that Mark II cars ('93 and on) have integrated headrests in them (including every SRT-4 I've seen), but my '00 SE has adjustable-height headrests on the rears... but I've recently seen some Mark I cars that have fixed/integrated ones, too. My '00 ES has adjustable rear head rests. I think it was just an early feature that was discontinued in late '01 or in '02.

Why would I call a 2000 Neon a "second gen" when generations are designated by chassis? A 2000-02 is the same chassis as 03 and on. Marks are how they designate revisions *within* a given generation of chassis, that being common in the auto industry.
Edit: ahhhh yeah I see where I put "93" instead of "03". I can see where that could be misleading.

Very interesting, I didn't know there were any Neons with adj rear headrests. Glad you brought it up, learn something new about these things everyday.

I have indeed seen SRT-4's with fixed leather rear seats.
Here's mine, but with covers:
