Still New

Post by UriahRR » Fri Jun 05, 2009 1:59 pm

Hey everyone, I've been here for about a week, but I'm still new so I figured I'd do the official intro.

My name is Uriah and I live in PA. I see some of you live in PA as well which is nice. I don't usually see too many upgraded cars around here or, if I do, they're usually just 1988 Honda Accords and shit that come out of the ghettos.

Anyway, I have a Green 2000 Dodge Neon ES with plugs, wires, CAI, front and rear STB, SRT-4 cat-back with 25" CherryBomb, GrillCraft Grills, clear headlights, all three clear tail lights, clear side lights, Kenwood Head Unit, Kenwood iPod Connector, and four Alpine Type-R speakers.

Next, I would like to get an MPx UDP, and change my car form a green and white scheme to a green and black scheme - it would just look better that way since green isn't a very hot color.

I've already spoke with some of you and I like this forum much better than where I used to be (DodgeForum.com). This site is solely focused on the 2gn Neon - I love that. I don't have to sort through all the other Dodge models to get information on my Neon.

Overall, I like it here quite a bit and, unfortunately, sometimes I end up writing essays ^^^. Please forgive my longwinded nature. :thefinger: :tardbang: :thefinger:

Oh yea, and I'm on the far east coast of PA, near Allentown. I was thinking about going to Carlisle after reading that some of you are driving for three days and shit and it's only two hours away from my house, but we'll see. I usually just stay local.

Yea, unfortunately, I tend to let the car washes slip a little bit. I could probably win a "Dirtiest Neon of the Year Award" anytime [-X

Haha, yea, I've seen a lot of people here who only care about the car being lowered. I don't see what the big deal is. Even after you lower it, it's still only an inch or two lower. That inch or two can't help this sedan suspension enough to make it worth it in my opinion. If I were to lower my car, I'd probably go with pneumatics or something that REALLY lowered it.

And thanks for agreeing with me; I've had my Neon for a little over a year now and DodgeForum.com pretty much turned me off of going to forums about my car. They really suck. I'm seriously glad I found this place.

Welcome!

You'd be surprised at how much better the car will handle when lowered on good springs, as opposed to the way some do it (cut or heated springs).

Good springs would be Hotchkiss, Mopar Stg I, Eibach Prokits, and a few others I'm forgetting.
