ok i have a clunk..ill try and explain it as best i can..
ok im stopped not moving and i turn the wheel to the right great.. i go to turn it to the left it turns about half a turn then kinda pops or clunks then keeps on turning just fine.. once i lift the car off the ground and the wheels are off.. dont know if that matters it doesnt do it.. it turns normal..
any ideas what it could be

I'd say check your tie rods, end links, and ball joints then. There's not too much else it can be.krc21 wrote:i would say that is impossible because i have coilovers.. no top hats

hey ive got the same situation except mine does it turning to the right. All stock suspension though, but when i lifted mine up and took off the tire and checked everything and put it back on it stopped doing it for a couple days. It has to be something in the steering just dont know what.

I had/have the same problem. When i first bought my R/T whenever i would turn the wheel to the right i would hear popping. So i had the outer tie rod replaced and everything was well for a bit and it was back.
Recently when i was getting my coilovers installed my friend pointed out a leak from my trans. The passenger axle seal is leaking and my have caused my clunking because since i have had the coilovers installed at slow speeds i can hear the axle spinning and it sounds like a grinding noise.
So i would say tie rods or it's axle related.
