Yes, the woman was verbally combative... but I do not see where she was physical at all with the officer.

I do see where the officer was physical with her... apparently an effort to move them off the highway; however, if you note carefully in the video the woman is off the highway and a distance from the side white line... the officer on the other hand is closer to that white line but still on the shoulder side of it.

My opinion is that the officer let his emotions run away with him and saw red when the woman became verbally combative. I saw no attempt to cuff her... instead immediately went for the taser.

I don't see sufficient aggressive physical action on the part of the woman to warrant the use of a taser.

There is no arguing with a police officer. You argue with the judge. Mouth off to a cop you get tazed or a nightstick across the teeth.

Everyone's a lawyer anymore. The old fart shouldn't even have a license.

Lady deserved it. The officer had every right to want them off the road further than that. The location they were standing would have been deadly if someone rear ended his cruiser.

Kudos to the officer for holding up on his end. The lady did dare him afterall

Care to elaborate on the "should not have a license" point or are you too an armchair lawyer?
