sxxxt: not too bad its more time consuming than anything you gotta pull out allot of screws and some of them you cant even get to so it makes you wonder how the hell they put em on lol its really time consuming but worth it.

well i did get allot done i swapped all the harnesses,
redid my whole interior,
swapped to a tilt steering wheel,
got a steering wheel air bag,
got all new stock speakers,
installed the r/t front bumper,
put new fender well splash guards,
moved my antenna to were the wiper motors are,
swapped trunks with the green neon since the one on my car had 20 holes from the previous owner having 4 different wings on the car,
installed the rear bumper,
installed the headlights, tail lights, sidemarkers, and third brake light,

and cleaned out the car the only things left to do are get the rear glass on the car swap in the new engine and take it for a spin i really didnt get any pictures of anything because i was out on the cold for 12-14 hours per day working on the car but ill take some tomorrow to show some progress

im waiting to get a ride to my friends house to get the cherry picker i have no car at the moment im bumming rides with friends and shit lol it sucks.

im taking the stock block from the green parts car and im mating it up to a 1999 2.0 dohc head from a dodge neon its going to be all and n/a for now im thinking of going boost mid next year.

well i found a killer deal here locally from a local srt owner he blew up his engine and decided to overhaul everything from engine to turbo the whole works.

well he said i could have his super 20g turbo, turbo fold, wastegate with spring for 28 lbs, and a ssq bov all for 500 bucks im going to snag it from him mid jan

haha true thanks for rubbing it in lol.
but i have never in my life seen a burnt orange done up nice and clean that is the main reason that i really want to stick with the original color to show people that burnt orange can look good too for the time being the car will be shot with flat black again until i do the body work and shoot it with whatever color i choose

It would help if you can post some pics of other cars with these color paint jobs.

Are you getting this done for $3k at a shop? Or doing it yourself?

here is the original color its a burnt orange but it looks more maroonish than orange its a rare color i havent seen many of these.
the first car is actually my car or what it used to look like when the previous owner had it ricerific to its best
Image
Image
this is the prowler orange its really close to the burnt orange but has more of an orange glow to it rather than the maroonish color

Original burn orange color looks too much like Salsa Red, an OEM color. I think I would choose either Titanium or Prowler orange.

Are these the only colors you are choosing? What about other colors?

yeah its down to these colors the burnt orange is the oem color that the car came with kinda like salsa red but it was an option only on plymouth neons.

the prowler orange well what can i say i love it.

and the autumn copper is different but i think you have to have the right car in order to be able to rock it.

yeah deff man sounds good you got my # hit me up bro so we can plan the trip with time.

well little update the car now has a rear glass.
the glass guy came over and swapped the rear glass out of the green neon into the black neon for 50 bucks all thats left are the engine and paint.

on thursday me and the wife are driving to az to go get the kids we sent them with the in laws to spend christmas.
we are going to a border town called rio rico.
while we are there the car will be painted a (secret color) by me and a friend this will just be a quick remedy so the car doesnt look as bad. and until i get the body work done and painted right.

also while im there i will get two secret mods i might reveal one of them before i leave but then again i might now lol just a little hint both of these mods will be on the outside of the car. thanks for watching and stay tuned

edit: o i forgot to add today im going to go pick up the cherry picker to start working on the engine so updates on the engine will be here shortly

and the engine is out it only took me like 30 min to pull it out (the engine that is) lmao.

tomorrow i will start tearing down the engine and putting everything together and getting it ready to drop it into the black car
