very cool, i like HHR's.
Lol I know. I've always liked them, and the boosted 2.0L Ecotec's not a bad motor, it spikes up to 20lbs of boost stock. Plus, this thing weighs within 50 lbs of what the Neon weighs. The FE5 suspension is pretty tight for a factory setup (very close to the setup I had done to the Neon actually!). The 2nd mod I'll do (1st mod is windowtint lol) is getting the GM LNF turbo upgrade which will put me at 290hp and 325lbs torque; all factory warrantied for about $1K including the install at the dealership!!! That's hella further dollar for dollar than I'd EVER get with the all motor setup I had in the Neonhul kogan Posted: Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:22 am Post subject:

Sorry just a pet peeve of mine. The amount of boost you are running stock doesn't matter. 20psi might sound like a lot but it all depends on the size of the turbo. 20psi on a K04 or smaller turbo doesn't make anywhere near the power of 15psi on a 50trim or another larger turbo on the same motor. The amount of boost you are running usually means very little. Its about Volume... then you add in a number of other things like fuel trims, compression ratios...asanti wrote: it spikes up to 20lbs of boost stock.

If you're comparing apples to apples and talking about another car that has the same drive train and same size turbo then you can talk about how much boost you are running.

Excellent post. I make almost 700hp on 6psi and I get tired of explaining why. Well played sirMoxHair wrote:Sorry just a pet peeve of mine. Thank-you. Its a huge pet peeve of mine and I can guarantee I'll have to answer the question at least 5 times a week. I think I'm going to snap on someone one of these days. ugghPhillyLS1 wrote:Excellent post. I make almost 700hp on 6psi and I get tired of explaining why.
